In Ethiopia Plutocrats (TPLFites ) are driving the Economy while the rest of Ethiopians are treated as crawling insects/roaches that can be trampled and squashed on the road without no consequence on TPLFites for doing so.

From the Oqubay’s interview one thing I heard clearly is that Ethiopia is and will stay a plutonomy, according to Dr. Arkebe Oqubay.
Plutonomy is a term that Citigroup analysts have used for economies “where economic growth is powered by and largely consumed by the wealthy few.”

I really admire Arkebe Oqubay for publicly admitting that Ethiopia is a plutonomy.

I hope Arkebe Oqubay does not loose his post at the Prime Minster’s office for telling one true thing about the future of Ethiopia for the first time in his career.
